Biochemist by training, PhD in metabolic network modeling (dynamic models), postdoc in biomedical context on energy metabolism in mice, scientist working on genome-scale metabolic models and laboratory evolution, now full professor combining all these things. My main interest is in understanding the design principles of biological networks leading to fit (microbial) cell physiology. We combine quantitative experimentation with theory and models.
